To create our SEAMLESS garments, we wanted to go beyond a simple search for recycled materials or certified and local suppliers. Therefore, when we came across a fabric that had the quality, durability and feel that we wanted and that, in addition to being recycled, was BIODEGRADABLE , we knew immediately that, without a doubt, our garments would have to be able to biodegrade once the life cycle of the clothing was finished.
With this, we manage to create unique pieces of recycled yarn, but we also offer the consumer to close the cycle of the garment once the desired performance has been obtained.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN THAT A GARMENT CAN BIODEGRADE?
They are pieces that may decompose quickly when discarded or thrown into landfills.
Its special composition facilitates, in the anaerobic conditions of the landfill, the access and digestion of the waste material by bacteria, accelerating the biodegradation process.
This is how our clothes can be eliminated from the planet in approximately 5 years, while other fibers take decades to decompose.
Like other biodegradable products, our fabric, once in the landfill, decomposes into organic matter (biomass) and biogas that can be used as new resources for the environment and the cogeneration of electrical energy.
But calm down! As long as the garments are still active, you don't have to worry about it. You can use them and use them as many times as you want, without losing their initial quality.
